Buying REO (real estate owned by a bank) is a very laborious process especially since banks only sell their foreclosed properties “as-is” which makes inspections critical. Usually time is very short. Negotiating with banks is very frustrating since they are not at all flexible. You have to be ready to walk away. Monica’s advice for negotiating with the banks (all crooks and sharks imho) was invaluable.
